What it means

A scammer creates a page that looks like a real sign-in screen so you will enter your username, password, or one-time code.

Warning signs

• The URL does not match the real service.

• The login asks for extra information.
• The page looks familiar but something feels off.

Safer next steps

• Leave the page and open the official app or website.
• Change your password if you entered it.
